Google  has hidden funny things in their search box! The popular game “StarCraft” has inspired the Google giant to invest in their creative side.

If you type “Zerg Rush” into Google, the “O’s” in Google take over the page. If you double click, your cursor turns into a plus sign. Click on the O’s and you wipe them out. Google then tabulates your score and, in a social media twist, lets you post your score on Google+, hence further promoting their social media platform.

Is this one of the ways Google has spent time on, in hopes of promoting the controversial Google+?   While some say that Google+ marketers have become desperate, I think that anything that google will develop in the future will have full social media integration for this platform, regardless of the product.

For those who don’t know, Zergs are an alien race of insectoids in Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft. In the game you “rush” them by amassing your battle units and blitz them.

BTW, Zerg Rush has been around for a long time!
