Despite the many rumors circling the internet, Homer will not be leaving Marge for a Pharmacist (Lena Dunham).

Denial?

When contacted, the Simpsons official facebook page did not respond directly to this blogger, mistaking me for another “fan”. They did however release a photo of Bart’s official stance on this.

Technically speaking, this is not the first time. Homer has had many suitors before, including a young country singer during “Colonel Homer, Season Three”, and has filed for divorce before in “A Milhouse Divided, Season Eight” before being remarried.

Fun Fact: They were divorced for  TWELVE SEASONS! Reverend Lovejoy’s Ministerial Certification had lapsed during their marriage ceremony, so 12 seasons later they remarry in “Wedding For Disaster, Season Twenty”. So they’d been divorced for almost half of their lives.

The many rumors are fictional and mirror poor reporting skills.

The twitterverse has lost it.

So I leave you with two questions:

1 – How can you avoid spreading rumors if even the biggest of news broadcasters don’t check their sources for credibility anymore?

2 – Why the fuck doesn’t Bart age?
